Bank of America is one of many corporations looking to build stronger communities through academic achievement. To this end they are gearing up to hold their annual Leadership Summit in Washington D.C. in July. They are looking for all to attend the summit that has a desire to build stronger communities. There are a few things to keep in mind if you hope to win the Bank of America Leaders Scholarship.
Meet the Requirements
The first thing you will need to do is to even be eligible for the scholarship in the first place. You must be a Junior or Senior in good standing at your school. You must also be able to legally work in the United States. You will have to have the ability to attend the summit in Washington, D.C. in July. You must also be able to participate in a paid internship at a local non-profit/charitable organization to last 8 weeks.
What you Should Demonstrate
In order to win the scholarship you will need to be able to demonstrate you are a leader in your community. You will also have to show you have a commitment to charity programs and community outreach.
You should demonstrate how the internship as well as the scholarship will help you to achieve your future goals both in terms of career and in terms of community. This will help to show the board you represent what the scholarship has been designed to accomplish.
