There are very few job fields in which there is a desire to draw more men to the career field. The nursing field is one of the career fields in which men are underrepresented. This is due in part to the fact that most of society views this job as one which is normally held by women. Thanks to scholarships such as the American Assembly for Men in Nursing (AAMN) Foundation Scholarships for Men, more men will find their way to this rewarding career field.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for the scholarship you will obviously have to be male. You will have to already be enrolled in an accredited nursing school. You will also have to provide documentation of your enrollment as well as a completed application. Award Amount

The scholarship is set up so that it has the potential to be annual, but you are not guaranteed that just by winning the scholarship that you will receive annual funds. You will receive $1,000 which can be used towards baying your tuition costs as well as any additional college related costs you might have.
