Who Offers the Scholarships
Udall Found Foundation Scholarship is offered by the Morris K. Udall and Stewart K, Udall Foundation. This foundation was established by congress in 1992. The foundation honors Morris K. Udall’s 30 years of service in the House of Representatives. It also honors the extensive community service work done by both Morris K. and Stewart K. Udall. The foundation focuses on the education of young people about the environment and Native American issues.

More about the Udall Scholarships
The Udall Foundation awards approximately 50 $350 scholarships to juniors and seniors in college and another 80 scholarships in amounts as high as $5,000. These scholarships are awarded to juniors and seniors in college who are working towards having a career related to the environment, tribal public policy, or Native American health care. Careers which qualify for the scholarship requirements cross a wide spectrum of environmental fields. These careers can include those in engineering, science, education, urban planning and renewal, business, health, justice, and economics.
The Udall Scholarships are awarded in three categories different categories. These include applicants who can provide proof of a commitment to a career related to the environment. Another category is for applicants who are an Alaska Native or Native American whoa re committed to a career related to tribal public policy. The last category is for applicants who are an Alaska Native and Native American who are committed to careers related to Native health care.
