The world of politics is always in need of more people who have a passion for the country and making a difference in the world. The more education you are able to get before you get into politics, the better your chances are that you will be able to go further in your career. This is why going to school is so important to your future in politics. Of course, not everyone has the money to be able to get the education that you need to make it in the world of politics. This is where the Enid Hall Griswold Memorial Scholarship comes in.

The Scholarship

If you are going to go to school for political science, economics, government or history, you will be able to get this scholarship. It is open to those who are in either their junior or senior year in high school. The scholarship is based on your academic achievements instead of any kind of financial need. To get started with the process, you will need to have an application turned in by February 15th, 2011. The application is available at:

What You Will Get

If you are chosen to receive the scholarship you will be awarded $1,000 on a one time basis. The money will be credited to your school and any unused portion will be returned to the National Society. Click on the link above for even more great scholarships.
