There are plenty of great jobs out there for people willing to work in specialized sections of the medical community. This includes people who work as podiatrists, osteopathologists, chiropractors, optometrist, and dentist. There are not always the education programs which will allow you to get the education you need to get started in your career within the confines of your state.

Requirements of the Scholarship

In order to be able to get funded by the Arkansas Health Education Scholarship Grant Program you will need to meet a few requirements. The program outside the state must teach for one of the approved professions. Programs must allow you to get the licensing you need to get started in your career. The program must also be in agreement with the Board of Control for Southern Regional Education or the Arkansas Health Education department.

Getting the Money

In order to get the money that you need to go to school, you will need to first meet the above requirements. You will then need to fill out and submit the application which is found at:

The grant is based partly on the academic achievements of the student and largely on the need in the particular field that you are looking to study in.
