There are many Baptists who would like to go to school for all different areas of study. This is not to say that all of those looking to go to college will have all of the money that they will need in order to go. This is why the American Baptist Financial Aid Program seeks to help those students looking to go to college to get the money they need to be able to seek out the future careers that they long for.

Scholarships for Undergraduates

Those who have maintained a 2.75 GPA will be able to apply for and possible obtain the scholarship that they are looking for. The award amount will vary depending on the student and the academic institution they are looking to attend. The school will have to be an accredited school in the U.S. or Puerto Rico. All applications must be received by May 31. Award money will be paid directly to the school you are attending.

Scholarships for Graduates

Many people are looking to continue to go to college for a PhD in their chosen field. Those active in the Baptist church will be able to get a one-time doctoral grant of $3,000. Just like above, you will need to get your application in for the grant by May 31st. In order to get the scholarship you will need to plan to teach at the college or seminary level with your degree.
